Just a few blocks south from where I live, lies Toronto's Regent Park. Undergoing phase one of the city Revitalization Project, this community of social housing faces constant turmoil.
The top picture shows the "Community Info Centre," which appears to have been vandalized and long abandoned. The second photo shows a mound of rubble against the backdrop of the existing housing as construction gets underway in Toronto's plan to rebuild the area - a plan that, according to the project website, will take 12-15 years. The last photo shows what remains of one of the many buildings that have been torn down.
Its destruction forces hundreds of residents to relocate to surrounding areas.
