The hookers come out at night. Just at that corner though, where Church intersects with Carlton and where there's a CIBC bank right across the street. Drug addicts reek of weed and beg for coffee on the other side of the block; two churches, one seminary and three schools sit within 200 paces, north, south and east and a little girl clutches her mother's hand while she hopscothes over the streetcar lanes.
Pick up a Bible and squint, you can see devils and angels walking side by side.
