Boycott the Airport?

Last friday I headed to the airport for the second time. There seemed to be more passengers on the buses than last time.
I was there for a "Boycott the Airport" protest headed by Community Air. I was a little taken aback.
There were 2 groups present. The Mississauga's Of The New Credit, an aboriginal group which has land claims, as well as Community Air.
One group was pounding on authentic aboriginal drums, and the other giving out flyers and playing the trumpet.

"We live in a car-free environment" says an Island resident. She also hasn't taken a plane in 5 years, both she and her husband travel all over North America by train.
It felt a little ridiculous, the police was there. Although they remained on the other side of the street.
I got to meet Bill Freeman, whom i'd interviewed already. A very friendly person.
There wasn't much action, a few dozen protesters freezing at the airport. Someone brought a supply of coffee for everyone.
